Firstly, what is important?

Question everything. All scientific endeavour is based on rigorous enquiry.
There is a lot in Respiratory Medicine that has been taken for granted.
The Respiratory Community seems to be happy to accept dogma and edicts from authorities without challenge,
and this must change if our patients are to be best served by science and medicine.
